Spray Painting
Spray Painting - unrelated study
I am quite used to using stencils for my spray painting, so I decided that whilst the weather was nice, I wanted to mess around with freehand techniques. I found this quite fun to do, but do quite like the safety of my stencils, so it was kind of stressful at the start when pigments started to run and I couldn't control it.
I have found that I really like KOBRA stock caps as opposed to Montana stock caps, as I have more control with the KOBRA ones due to them being variable widths.
It was not a 'stencil-free' piece though as I did use some curves to be able to get the lines that I did on the shine in the eye and also some of the fur markings.
